Hey there! Can you believe it’s already that time of year again? Yep, it’s time to start thinking about 1099s. Just like last year, for the 2024 tax season, any business filing 10 or more information returns needs to e-file directly with the IRS. I know that sounds a bit daunting, especially since the new Dynamics GP 18.7 release doesn’t have a built-in e-filing feature. But don’t worry! I’ve got you covered with tips and options to make sure you can handle these requirements smoothly and stress-free.
Tried-and-True E-Filing Solutions to Keep Your Season Bright!
We know a lot of GP users have been asking for built-in e-filing through the feature request forum. If you choose to file directly with the IRS using their web-based e-filing system called IRIS you will want to keep in mind, it only allows 100 returns to be uploaded at a time. For those needing to file more, we recommend going with one of the trusted third-party solution listed above for ease and efficiency.
These solutions have been recommended by fellow users for their reliability, so you can feel confident choosing the one that’s the best fit for you!”
